Overview

The Phenomenon Game ("we", "us") operates the website phenomenonfootball.com and the game module available at phenomenonfootball.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you play the game or browse the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. This is a fan-made, non-commercial project.

Information we collect

The game is a browser-based tool. It does not require registration and we do not ask for personal information. Your game progress — player name, draft picks and career results — is saved locally in your own browser using localStorage and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

When you publish a score to the public leaderboard, the nickname you choose and your game results (score, archetype, rating, goals and language) are sent to our server, hosted by Cloudflare, and stored in a leaderboard database so the ranking can be shown to all players. Leaderboard entries are public — please use a nickname rather than your real name. You can request deletion of any leaderboard entry attributed to your nickname by emailing us.

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes standard technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, date and time of requests. This data is used for security, availability and to understand how the site is used in aggregate form. We do not sell or rent any data to third parties.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses localStorage to remember your language preference and game results. We do not use tracking cookies of our own. Third parties, such as advertising partners and analytics providers, may use cookies, web beacons or similar technologies when you visit the site (see below).

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, device type, approximate region); it does not receive personal identifiers such as your name or email. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
